Happy Belated Birthday to Aunt Kris

Today we took my sister [aka "Aunt Kris" to the kids] to Bob's Big Boy for a Belated Birthday lunch. I LOVE diners, they are 'the bomb'. This diner is really special, it is the last remaining Bob's Big Boy restaurant, located in Burbank, CA. It's conveniently situated about 10 miles from my house, I am so lucky, plus there's a yarn store down the street! Above is Riley, Aunt Kris, Kaden and Shea with the Big Boy. Still Sick

I am still sick as ever. Tomorrow is Easter, but I think I deserve take the holiday off and celebrate spring when I feel good.

Convalescent knitting has indeed proved to be hazardous: while trying to knit Diva, I made a mistake which was tinked. I was not happy with the fix so tinking became ripping to beginning of the collar. At this point I noticed a looser gauge so I ripped out the entire front half section!! Yikes, this is very disheartening... so much for knitting while sick. grrrr.

Sick and Tired of It

It's now over a week since I became disgustingly ill, and am officially tired of being sick.

Absolutely no knitting has occurred this week, actually negative knitting occurred due to finding an inadvertent short row in Lady E and ripping back a few squares. I know that knitting is potentially hazardous while wasted, so I don't even try it anymore.

Hopefully I will knit soon. These are all waiting for me:

• Habu Paper/ Silk Shoulder Bag
• Lady of the Lake sweater jacket
• Jane Origami/ Crossover sweater

ALL of the sweaters need sleeves. I have obvious sleeve issues.
